About Me

Welcome! I'm Vandit Jain, a Software Engineer with a penchant for turning lines of code into transformative solutions. Currently, I thrive in Tesla's Factory Software domain, where I specialize in Backend and Cloud technologies. Beyond these realms, I frequently embark on Full-Stack endeavors, dive into Product Management intricacies, and even explore the captivating realms of iOS/Android development and other geeky tech pursuits.

My journey into the world of software was sparked during my college years, as I pursued a Bachelor's in Electronics and Instrumentation from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani  (fondly known as BITS Pilani) between 2016-2020. Seeking to amplify my skills, I then set my sights on a Master's in Software Engineering from  Carnegie Mellon University.

The icing on the cake was being honored with the illustrious Tomayko Scholarship Award, a testament to my dedication and proficiency.

With an extensive experience spanning over 6 years, I've been ardently engrossed in the art of crafting software and applications since my college initiation. Fueled by an unquenchable passion for technology and innovation, I continue to channel my expertise into shaping the ever-evolving landscape of software engineering.

  • Designed and developed an exam-reporting iOS application in Swift on Xcode to improve data accuracy and result-reporting time by 200%.
  • Developed an Android application in Java that integrated hardware designed to detect body temperatures of people during the pandemic with the app; enabling logging and warning systems at stores.
  • Designed UI and UX mockups for 3 different web and mobile applications in Figma and XD.
